The Swire Hotel Group is planning to unveil the EAST Beijing hotel at the end of this month, following on from the launch of the EAST Hong Kong in January 2010.
Located in the capital’s Chaoyang district, EAST Beijing will feature 369 rooms, including 23 suites, all of which have iPod touch technology and complimentary Wi-Fi. Facilities include a gym, swimming pool, outdoor splash pool, two restaurants, and a ground floor bar and music venue.
The hotel is conveniently linked to the Indigo shopping mall and connected to the city’s subway network. Dining options include Feast, an all-day dining option serving up international cuisine; Japanese eatery Hagaki; and the bar, lounge and music venue Xian.
Management said the philosophy behind the EAST brand is a “lifestyle business hotel offering a relaxed and contemporary environment”. Guests will experience a paperless check-in and check-out, and a one-stop front desk service team will handle all guest requests. The EAST Beijing will be Swire Hotels’ second hotel in Beijing and their fourth in Asia.
